Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
DRLW mission is to temporary house women. Aide wrap around resources while effectively addressing the causes and complexities of homelessness. Collaborate with community partners, socially network while helping women maintain affordable housing.
DRLW is safe house. A transitional homeless living residency for women. DRLW has been servicing the Chicagoland area since 2004. DRLW assist women by supporting them with a healthy diet and supportive services while undergoing a transformational lifestyle. DRLW's intention is to help guide the recovery concept of each individual by matching their circumstances with inside and outside advocacy along with promoting professional services for mental health. Empowering the need for independence to become a productive citizen within the community.
Linkages of an array of outside/inside services cultivates not only the needs of each homeless situation it also encourages future endeavors. We want to thank the countless volunteers for all of their efforts, past, current and future. We Certainly can't do this alone.
Structured living, healthy dieting, clothing, recovery coaching, 12 step philosophy groups that help identify habitual behaviors, professional contractual support for mental health, health issues and other underlining issues that provokes behavioral patterns, family support, alumni support, computer station on site for resumes and cover letter building, internet job search, online education, hands on cooking, recreational area, laundry area for convenience, assists with transportation to get their day started for a road to recovery.
